About Me

Designer
Photographer
World Traveler
Music Lover
Sports Fan

My name is Matt Knorr (with a hard K…opposite of knee, knife, knight, and how you think it would be pronounced.) I am a visual designer focused on branding, marketing, graphic design, and user experience. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the ability to collaborate with other designers and across departments. I am always seeking new ways to learn and grow so you can often find me reading, at conferences, or learning new skills and software. I am passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, the tech industry, and the role of design thinking in businesses.

Even though I call the Pacific Northwest home, I travel whenever I get the chance. I love the feeling of waking up in a new city, without a map or agenda, ready to explore. This mindset has taken me across the US and world, with no desire to stop anytime soon. One of my favorite things to do is sit in the window seat of an airplane, good music in my headphones, and my sketchbook open. The world feels a little bit different looking out that window.

I dream a lot. Sometimes it leads to awesome creative inspiration, new artistic endeavors, or entrepreneurial aspirations. Every once in a while it leads to a coworker or friend nudging me back into the moment. My mind wanders, but almost always finds its way back to the things in life I hold most important.

My personal motto is “create more, share often” which is ridiculously easier to say than actually do. This site is a start. This career is a start. My sketchbooks and laptop are full of thoughts, ideas, designs, and stories – this is a chance for me to share them with the world. So you’re welcome world.

Even though I am a full-time designer, the side projects I take on are some of the most rewording work I do. Whether you need help with a freelance design, want to collaborate on a project, or just want to say hi I’m more than happy to hear from you so get in touch.
